Some local low income families will have nice new family portraits for Easter thanks to a local church and Lighthouse Ministries.

About 20 families showed up at Park Methodist Church on Clay Avenue this Sunday afternoon to get their pictures taken.

Some local photographers donated their time and resources to take the photos for free.

There was also plenty of Easter candy for the children to keep them in their Sunday best.

Organizers with Lighthouse Ministries say this is just another small way they want to help bring  low income families together.
