The football Cats took to the Nutter Training Facility practice fields for the first time in roughly a week for a full scrimmage to see where things were at here in spring ball.

UK got in close to 140 plays, showing signs of promise, but also exhibiting the need for great improvement before that date in Nashville with Bobby Petrino and Western Kentucky come fall.

Donte Rumph underwent surgery on his injured shoulder this afternoon and is expected to be back for the game with the Hilltoppers and fall camp.

So just where are the Cats, both mentally and depth-chart wise after today's mock game?

Stoops and Brown in the video answer just that.
