London Police Chief Stewart Walker resigns.  London's mayor suspended Walker about two weeks ago with pay.

On Wednesday, Walker was in Madison County Family Court.  In that court, a Berea woman received a restraining order against Walker.

Two weeks ago, that woman received an Emergency Protective Order (EPO) against Walker.

In the alleged EPO which was provided to ABC 36 by the victim, the victim wrote that Walker "Terrorized and stalked" her.  The victim wrote Walker had been violent with her in the past, and she feared what he would do next.

After learning of Walker's resignation the victim told ABC36 "Stewart Walker was the law, and I hope he now realizes he wasn't above the law.  I truly hate all of this," said the victim.
