London Police Chief Stewart Walker has been suspended with pay after being accused of terrorizing and stalking a woman he used to live with, according to court documents.

London Mayor Troy Rudder ordered the suspension on Monday.

An emergency protective order was also issued against Walker by a Madison County judge.

The woman who asked for the order claimed Walker had been violent with her in the past and was afraid of what he may do next.

She said a State trooper had even found him crouched down in her home's driveway.

ABC 36 will have more on this developing story in our 6pm broadcast.
