London Man Accused of Giving Teen Life-Threatening Injuries

Deputies in London arrested a 20-year-old man after they said he assaulted a 17-year-old in a parking lot early Wednesday morning.

Around 1:40am, officers were sent to the intersection of KY-363 and Philpot Road after being told the teen was seriously hurt due to the alleged assault.

He was flown to UK Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Shawn Couch was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
