Local Red Cross Phone Bank Raises $75,000 For Tornado Victims

That money will be used to provide immediate disaster relief services including temporary shelter, food, counseling, and basic health care.
The Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross along with local broadcasters and newspapers raised $75,000 for Oklahoma tornado relief through yesterday's phone bank.

That money will be used to provide immediate disaster relief services including temporary shelter, food, counseling, and basic health care.

The Red Cross has sent 30 emergency response vehicles and over 200 responders to Moore, Okla. including some volunteers from right here in Lexington.
