A Libertarian candidate for the US Senate said he's not being invited to a debate on KET, and he said it's not fair.

David Patterson joined the race, last week, after turning in a petition with about 9,000 names.

According to Patterson, KET Requires a campaign to have an active website, at least $100,000, and have 10% support in an independent poll in order to be included in the debate.

Patterson said KET's deadline was August 16th, just five days after he announced his candidacy.

The Libertarian party's chairman said voters are being cheated out of seeing one of their voting options.
