Lexington's Most Valuable Properties

The Office of Fayette County's Property Valuation Administration has released a list of Lexington's most valuable properties.

Topping the list is the interior part of the mall including Macy's, JCPenny, and Sears. It was also ranked number one in the 2011 with the same value.

Coming in number two is Lexmark's International Campus on West New Circle Road at Newtown Pike. The 303-acre land is worth $55 million dollars. They also ranked number two in 2012.

In number three is another park of the Fayette Mall. It includes the area connecting Sears, Dillards, and Dick's Sporting Goods. It's worth $55 million.

Number four is the Keeneland Race Course. Including the track and barns, it's worth $43.5 million.

Number five is the area including Dick's Sporting Goods, Big Lots, and Office Max in Hamburg.

In number six is The Plaza at Fayette Mall. This is the newest portion of the mall that includes restaurants like T.G.I. Friday's. This area was ranked number five in 2011.

Newtown Crossing Apartment Complex off South Broadway comes in number seven. The complex is worth $37 million. That's up 17% from 2011.

In number eight is The Marriott Griffin Gate Resort & Spa. The property is worth $34.6 million.

The Lex Apartment Complex comes in number nine, and is worth an estimated $30.3 million.

Bridal Creek Apartments on Nicholasville Road ranks in number 10 worth an estimated $26.7 million. That's down two percent since ranked number eight in 2011.
