Lexington native Laura Bell Bundy has joined the cast of the popular FX comedy series 'Anger Management.'

The Tony-nominated actress will star opposite Charlie Sheen.

She will play Dr. Jordan Denby, an alcoholic recent divorcee.

She replaces Selma Blair, who was dismissed from the show after clashing with Sheen in June.

Bundy originated the role of Elle Woods in Broadway's 'Legally Blonde - The Musical.'

In addition to Broadway, Bundy's credits include roles on 'How I Met Your Mother' and The CW's 'Hart of Dixie.'

The multi-talented Bundy is also a country singer and songwriter.

She recently signed a record deal in Nashville and is scheduled to release her first country single on August 19th.  She has been on tour with Rascal Flatts.

Bundy is scheduled to begin filming 'Anger Management' this week.
