An economic expert describes Lexington's economic recovery as "anemic."
Kenneth Troske of the University of Kentucky's Center for Business and Economic Research, spoke to business leaders Tuesday at the 24th Annual Economic Outlook Conference at the Lexington Center.
Troske told the group Lexington has rebounded from the recession but that rebound hasn't been that strong.
"We continue to see positive growth - we're just not seeing the growth that I would have expected coming out of a recession, and I think we need to resolve the economic uncertainty," said Troske. "We need to see Congress start acting on getting the deficit under control, getting control of expenditures, and dealing with meaningful tax reform before we see more economic growth."
Troske told the group he does not think we will enter another recession.
