Lexington Woman Accused of Punching Cop

A woman who was wanted for burglary reportedly made matters worse when she allegedly punched an officer in the eye.

Vanessa Napier was arrested on Old Frankfort Pike Tuesday morning, but police said during the arrest she began swinging, hitting an officer in the eye, and another in the pinky finger.

She was charged with three counts of burglary and third degree assault.
