Luminate Lexington helped kick off the holiday season yesterday in Lexington.

Families gathered at Triangle Park in downtown to hear performances from local choirs.

They also enjoyed the market area, which was filled with food vendors and a craft show where artists sold their one-of-a-kind items.

The night ended with the lighting of Lexington’s Christmas tree and the other lights in downtown.

Plus Santa Claus made an appearance too.

Lexington will hold it’s Christmas Parade on Main Street on December 6 at 7 p.m.
