His mother Michelle Upthegrove said Braxton will need new lining for his dialysis within weeks, on top of waiting for a new kidney.

The Henry Clay basketball team will honor their manager during Friday's game by wearing green shirts and ribbons to raise organ donor awareness.

Braxton's mother will also speak to the crowd.

Tip-off for the game is at 6:30pm Friday at the Frankfort Civic Center.
