Lexington Police said the quick thinking of a 13-year old boy thwarted a home invasion and helped officers catch the suspects.

Investigators said this happened in broad daylight Tuesday morning at a home on Newtown Pike near the Fayette-Scott County line.

Police said a 13-year old boy was home alone when he heard glass break.  He quickly ran and hid, called his father and police.

They both arrived before the two suspects could get away.

Police said they arrested Willam Bowling, 26, and Tanner Greene, 19, at the scene.  Both suspects are charged with Burglary 2nd.

The 13-year old was not injured.

The case is still under investigation.
