        Lexington Police say three people were sent to UK Hospital, one with life-threatening injuries after a four car accident around quarter to eight Thursday evening.
        Investigators say the driver of a jeep ran a red light at the intersection of Nicholasville and Southland and collided with another car flipping over that car, hitting another and pushing into a fourth car. 
     Police say the driver of the jeep had life-threatening injuries.
     Investigators say a police officer just happened to be right behind the cars involved in the accident.  
     They say the officer pulled the driver out of the jeep and gave aid until paramedics arrived. 
     The names of the drivers has not yet been released.
     Police are investigating why the driver ran the red light.
