A nail salon in Lexington was closed on Thanksgiving and that turned out to be a good thing.

Lexington Police said a suspected impaired driver slammed into the front of Nina's Nail Salon on Mapleleaf Drive on Thanksgiving morning.

The business suffered considerable damage.  The owner's daughter said the business is not insured.

Police said the driver ended up in U.K. Hospital.

His name hasn't been released.
