A Lexington Police Detective testified Friday during a preliminary hearing in Fayette District Court, that Malik Johnson, 20, admitted he shot and killed a teenager last month.
Investigators said Johnson gunned down Jaleel Raglin, 16, of Lexington on September 25, 2012, at the Matador North Apartments on Winburn Drive.
The defense told the court during the preliminary hearing that Johnson shot Raglin in self-defense.
The judge sent the case to a Fayette County Grand Jury.
