Lexington Police Sign New Contract

The city says the four year deal will save over $4 million.
Lexington Police signed a four year contract with the city that they say will save the community more than $4 million. The union agreed to a two year wage freeze, cuts to paid time off and clothing allowances. The contract also includes restrictions on personal use of work vehicles. The new budget goes into effect July 1st.
