Lexington Police said a Red Roof Inn on Haggard Court was robbed for the second time this week.

Police said the first robbery was on Monday.  The second was Thursday morning around 7:30 a.m.

Investigators said in the most recent robbery, a man walked into the lobby, demanded cash from the clerk, got it and ran out.

In Monday's robbery, Police said the clerk on duty scuffled with the robber when the clerk refused to give up his wallet.  He suffered only minor injuries.

Police are looking into whether the same man committed both robberies.
