A Lexington Police officer who shot and killed his neighbor's dog back in March because he says he thought it was going after his chickens, has resigned.
A Lexington Police officer who shot and killed his neighbor's dog back in March because he says he thought it was going after his chickens, has resigned.

Jeff Brangers settled with his neighbor, but an online petition from animal rights activists called for him to be fired.

Lexington Police issued a letter on Monday saying Brangers last day will be July 21st.
