Real police officers in Lexington said they're looking for a fake one.

Investigators said someone pulled up to cars Tuesday night in the Vine Street area, flashed a badge and handgun and claimed to be a police officer.

Police said the man didn't try to arrest anyone or hand out any tickets.

The search continues for the suspect.
