20-year-old Phillip Williams was arrested early Saturday morning in connection to a string of crimes Friday.

Police say surveillance cameras show Williams robbing the Shell on Versailles Road and Walgreens on Harrodsburg Road.

In both cases, witnesses told police the suspect implied he had a weapon than took off with cash.

Police tell ABC 36 they found the car Williams was driving at a Marathon in Beaumont Saturday morning which he was trying to rob.
