Lexington Police Looking for Assault Suspect on a Mountain Bike

Police are looking for a man who might have been on an orange and purple mountain bike in the area near Appian Way or at the Tates Creek Centre sometime between four and six Friday evening.

An elderly man, brutally beaten at his Lexington apartment Friday evening, died Sunday morning.

The coroner confirmed 87-year-old John Tully died from blunt force trauma.

Police said Tully was beaten and found bloody at the Old Farm Apartments where he lived on Appian Way.
Lexington Police said they’re looking for a white man who’s baling but has a shaved head. 

They said he was wearing a dark t-shirt, possibly black, blue jeans and tennis shoes and had a blue and black backpack, maybe from UK. 

Police said this man might have been on an orange and purple mountain bike in the area near Appian Way or at the Tates Creek Centre sometime between four and six Friday evening.
