Real police officers are looking for a fake one in Lexington.

Police said someone was pulling up to cars Tuesday night around Vine Street,flashing a badge and handgun, and claiming to be a police officer.

The problem--he isn't.

Police said the man did not attempt to arrest anyone or hand out any tickets.
