Lexington Police Investigating Shooting on 7th and Dakota

        Lexington Police are investigating a deadly shooting that took place around 2am Sunday morning.

        Investigators say a 31-year old African-American male was shot multiple times near the corner of Seventh and Dakota on Lexington's north side.

        According to the coroner the man died from the wounds at UK Hospital.

        Police have no suspects at this time.
       
        The name of the man has not been released, pending notification to family members.
