Lexington Police Investigate Shooting Off Winchester Road

Lexington Police are investigating a reported shooting off of Winchester Road.

A man told police that he was driving on Elkhorn Drive around 9:30 Monday night when two men flagged him down.

The victim says when stopped his car and rolled down the window, the men shot him in the chest.

The victim told police he took off in his car and finally waived down a police officer on Owens Avenue.

The man was taken to the hospital.

No word on his condition.

So far there are no arrests in the case.
