Lexington Police Give Chase After Armed Robbery

An armed robbery occurred at 11:39 a.m. Thursday in Woodland Park in Lexington. Police say the victim was robbed at gunpoint, and money was taken.

Police say the robber got into a blue Chevy Silverado with a passenger inside and drove off.

Officers caught up, giving chase until both were going at 70 mph on Loudon Avenue. The driver of the Silverado lost control and crashed

The man and the passenger got out of vehicle and started running. Police caught up with them in wooded area, and took them in for questioning.
