Lexington Police: Family Dollar Robbed

Police said there’s been another robbery in Lexington.

They said this one happened at the Family Dollar on Race Street.

According to officers, a man walked into the store and demanded money. They said he was also carrying a handgun.

After getting cash, police said he ran off.

They were able to follow his footprints in the snow, but lost track of him.

A K9 unit was also brought out to the scene to help find the suspect.

Officers said they aren’t sure if his is connected to any of the other recent robberies in Lexington.

No one was hurt.
