Lexington will soon have 31 new police officers on its streets.

The police department held its graduation ceremony Friday.

The graduates finished a rigorous curriculum.

But they aren't done yet.

They'll now go through three-months of field training.

The department says the graduation celebration marks a job well done by all students in their first part of training.
