Lexington Police: Customer Hit With Shovel During Robbery Outside Pharmacy

Lexington Police said someone used a shovel as a weapon during a violent robbery in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators said someone waited outside the C & C Pharmacy off of Mapleleaf Drive, hit a customer with a shovel and stole the person's medication.

Police said it happened around 1:00 p.m.

Police used dogs to search for the suspect.  No one was found.
