Lexington Police say a car hit a child, after that child darted out from behind a bus.

All of this happened on Liberty Road, near a Lextran bus stop.

Police say the car's side mirror hit the ten-year-old.

He wasn't seriously hurt, but did go the hospital to be checked out.

Police say the driver was not at fault.
