Lexington Police Chief Wins 2nd "Top Cop Challenge" in a Row

For the second year in a row, Lexington Police Chief Ronnie Bastin has raced away with the top title in the Top Cop Challenge.
For the second year in a row, Lexington Police Chief Ronnie Bastin has raced away with the top title in the Top Cop Challenge.

Bastin and Fraternal Order of Police President Jason Rothermund took on six other police department from Kentucky and Ohio.

Bastin and Rothermund lit up the track with a combined speed of 303.53 mph to take the top team spot.

In addition to bragging rights, the Lexington police department also gets 200 tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Quaker State 400 Race on June 28.

Those tickets will be given to various Lexington charities, organizations and individuals.
