One man is in jail while Lexington police search for two other suspects after a burglary early Thursday morning.

Police said the call came in as 'suspicious persons in the area' on Harr Circle just after midnight. When officers got there, they said three people were running from the scene.

Police caught and arrested Attallah Shalash, 19, and charged him with burglary. They said the two other men got away over a back fence.

The home was broken into through a back window, according to police, and a pistol was found on the ground nearby.

Police said property was also found near where the suspects fled that may have come from the residence.

They said K-9 units were used to search for the other suspects, but they lost the trail toward the back of the home.

Police said no one was home during the burglary, and no one was injured.
