Lexington PD: Arrest Made in Assault of WWII Veteran

Lexington police have reported that Amanda Pergram was arrested around 4 pm at a Speedway on North Broadway.

She was wanted for assaulting a 90-year-old World War II veteran in Georgetown when he refused to give her money last month.

Officers were conducting a field investigation and discovered Pergram had a warrant for her arrest..

That's when they said Pegram ran off. She was later caught at the Speedway.

Pergram is now lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
