Lexington Police are trying to find the man who used a gun to rob a Subway restaurant.

Officers said it happened Monday night at the store on Versailles Road.

According to police, the robber showed a gun to a Subway worker who was outside smoking.

The man reportedly told the employee they were going inside for the money.

According to investigators, the robber forced workers to open the safe.

Police said the man took the money and ran out the back door.

Officers did not know yet if the robbery was related to another holdup that happened Monday afternoon in Lexington.

Police said the GameStop store at Hamburg was also robbed.
