Lexington Mayor Jim Gray and Former Police Chief Anthany Beatty took in a combined total of 95 percent of the vote during Tuesday's primary election.

Gray tallied 57 percent of that total, garnering 25,439 marks.

Beatty raked in 38 percent, with 17,033 votes.

Danny Mayer has been eliminated from the race with the remaining 5 percent, taking in 2,459 votes.
