Lexington Mayoral Candidates To Debate May 1st

Lexington's mayoral candidates are set to debate Thursday.

It will come ahead of the Primary Election on May 20th.

Incumbent Jim Gray is running for re-election.

Former Lexington Police Chief Anthany Beatty is also vying for the position.

The third mayoral candidate is Bluegrass Community and Technical College Associate English Professor Danny Mayer.

The debate will be held on May 1st at U.K.'s Boone Center.

It will begin at 7:45 a.m. and last one hour.

Organizers said they hoped to provide some time for questions from the audience.
