An eight year old girl in Lexington is battling a rare bone cancer.

And she's already finding hope in her fight, and inspiring others.

Carlie Bailey was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma back in November.

And while it's taking a tough toll on her body, she finds strength in spreading love and creativity to others battling the disease.

Tonya McClure and Lena Thornton have organized Carlie's Crafts & Crayons.

McClure and Thornton will be collecting items such as markers, sketchpads, paints, glue, etc.

All the items collected will be distributed to children at UK Children's Hospital.

The donations are needed by August 1st.
