Lexington Gas Station Robbed For Second Time In Two Weeks

Lexington Police said a Shell Station on Versailles Road was robbed early Thursday morning for the second time in two weeks.

A cashier told investigators it may have been the same man who committed both robberies.

In the most recent robbery, a cashier told police a man walked into the business around 4:25 a.m. with a handgun, demanded money, got it and took off toward the Cardinal Valley area.

No one was hurt.

As of this writing, no arrests had been made in the case.
