Lexington Firefighters Called to House Fire

Lexington firefighters were able to keep a house fire from spreading.

They say a fire on Elmendorf Drive Saturday night started when food was left on the stove.

At least four fire engines got to the scene and were able to put the flames out quickly.

The kitchen was destroyed, but no one was hurt.
