You're invited to join Lexington firefighters this Sunday for the Fire Prevention Festival & Parade downtown.

It starts at 3:30pm at the courthouse plaza.

The parade is at 6:45pm.

And there will be free activities for children.

ABC 36 is proud to be a sponsor of the event, which kicks off Fire Prevention Week.

The National Fire Protection Association says cooking is the leading cause of home fires, and injuries.
