As expected Friday, the US Anti-Doping Agency stripped Lance Armstrong of his Tour De France titles and banned him for life for using performance enhancing drugs.

Armstrong still maintains his innocence, but he's no longer fighting the charges that he cheated.

Reaction from cyclists in the Lexington area is mixed.

Bill Crank owns Crankworks Bicycle Shop.

He says, "Lance, in the cycling community, I think he's probably done more than anybody to make cycling a known sport in the US.

Crank says, "People love him and everything he's done and Livestrong... Or they think he's a cheater and despise him and think he's getting what he deserves.

Eric Barnett of McDonald's Cycling Team says, "I don't know whether he did drugs or not, but I probably feel the same way a lot of cyclists do. I just wish they would just let the past be the past and move on."
