Lexington Police are searching for a man they say held up a cell phone store.

Officers say it happened around noon at the Cricket store on Versailles Road.  Police say a man walked in and told the cashier he had a gun, but never showed the weapon.

Police say the man got away with about $400 in cash.

"We had a burglary possibly about an hour later in the proximity in the area, suspect possibly matching the description," said Lt. Sam Murdock, Lexington PD.

The police say the robber was about 30-years-old, wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
