After needing four months to compile the necessary evidence, Lexington Catholic High School is now a Guinness World Record holder.

On December 4, 2013, Lexington Catholic students, staff, faculty, and members of six other local schools came together in the LCHS Bueter Gym to break the record of "Largest Secret Santa Game in a Single Location."

1,463 people took part in the event, breaking the previous record of 1,270.

The exchanged gifts were valued at no more than three dollars, and included exchanges between Lexington Catholic, Mary Queen, Seton, St. Agatha, St. John, St. Leo, and Sts. Peter and Paul.

Around three hours of video footage from eight different camera angles, 200 photos and three certified witness statements were needed to verify the achievement by the Guinness World Records office in London.
