Lexington businesses are preparing for the return of the KHSAA Boy's Basketball Sweet 16 Tournament next week at Rupp Arena.

Thousands of fans from across Kentucky will be in Lexington for the state championship tournament.

Local businesses like The Sweet Spot and Kentucky Korner say the Sweet 16 Weekend is one of their busiest of the year.

Managers at both stores say they're making special preparations for the weekend.

Locals who live and work in Downtown Lexington say they're worried about the added traffic, especially with the Center Point project under construction.

City leaders say they're working on the logistics, making sure there is enough parking downtown and that traffic wont be an issue.

The tournament starts on Wednesday, March 19th and goes until Sunday, March 23rd.
