Lexington Arson Suspect Arrested

Police said they have arrested a man who set a fire at a Lexington apartment complex in November.

Tembani Masunungure, 37, was arrested Tuesday.

According to a police citation, he went to an apartment on Hill Rise Court back in November to get some of his personal belongings. Police said while he was there, he set fire to a bedroom.

The fire caused significant damage to the apartment.

No one was hurt.

Masunungure is charged with arson and burglary.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
