Lex Police Investigating Shooting on Woodhill Drive

Lexington Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex on Woodhill Drive.

Investigators say a man in his mid-20's was shot in the back in the complexes parking lot a little before 10am Friday morning.

Police say the victim was immediately taken to UK Hospital with life threatening injuries. Police say he has been in surgery all morning.

Witnesses at the scene were being interviewed by the police. A K-9 unit was also on scene looking over the property.

Police say they're getting conflicting reports on what the suspect or suspects look like.
