Lincoln County School officials are being sued after a man’s truck was hit by a school bus and later died.

William Boyd Coleman Sr. said he has filed a wrongful death lawsuit.

His son, William Otis Coleman, died after his pickup truck was hit by a school bus May 7 on KY 78 between Stanford and Hustonville.

The superintendent of Lincoln County Schools, Karen Hatter, said she did not have any comments since this is an open case.

ABC 36 has not heard back from the school board’s attorney.
