The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said Bradley Hill, 28, of Knox County, burglarized his estranged wife's home and then called a taxi to pick him up at the scene.

Investigators said Hill got into his estranged wife's home on Moriah Church Road outside London by going through a basement door.

Investigators said Hill stole cash and an $800 laptop computer that belongs to his estranged sister-in-law.

They said he then called a cab to pick him up at the crime scene.

Deputies said they contacted the cab company and asked them to have the driver pull over until authorities arrived.

Investigators said the cab driver complied and Hill was arrested in the taxi on North Main Street in London.

Investigators said Hill was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Hill was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
