Laurel County Storm Sends One Man To Hospital

     The Laurel County EMA says a man was taken to UK Hospital after a tree fell on him during Thursday's afternoon storms in south-central Kentucky.

    The storm his the county around 3:30 in the afternoon.

     More than 1800 KU customers were left without power after the storm.

     Dozens of tree branches were down and even the roof off of a London tobacco warehouse was blown off.

     As of 11pm Thursday about 200 Laurel County residents were still without power.
